Bend’s First Friday Block Party at The Commons Café and Taproom is getting a special twist on Friday, Oct. 3! Along with live music and food, you’re invited to a Community Ride hosted by the City of Bend, Bend Bikes, Commute Options, and Cascades East Transit.✨ This ride is part of Week Without Driving (Sept 29–Oct 5) — a celebration of walking, biking, rolling, and transit as everyday transportation. What better way to join in than riding together as a community? 💚
The City of Bend has been working to retrofit roads and intersections to reduce collisions, improve visibility, and boost safety. This ride will highlight some of those improvements, with stops at enhanced crossings and protected intersections.
📍 Meet at: The Commons Café and Taproom
🕠 Ride departs: 5:30 pm
⏰ Return: Between 6:15–6:30 pm, right as the music kicks off 🎶
🎁 Extras: Prizes, great community energy, and a chance to celebrate safer streets together!
