🙋🏻♀️ Join TBZ & our Sisterhood for ‘International Women's Day’. Together, we’ll host a meaningful celebration honoring Women’s Day! ✨Shabbat morning will begin with a special Sisterhood led Torah Study, fostering learning and spiritual connection. Afterwards, the morning service will feature Sisterhood members leading honors; reciting blessings, Siddur readings and chanting Torah, showcasing Jewish women’s voices in sacred spaces.
Following the service, a "Chai (חי) Tea Kiddush" will provide a warm, inclusive environment for reflection and connection. This Kiddush program aims to highlight critical social issues, featuring speakers from both “Family Promise” and the “Haven House”, who will address the pervasive impacts of domestic violence and the challenges of homelessness for women and families. These discussions aim to educate and inspire positive action, reinforcing the values of community care and justice.
This multifaceted program honors women’s leadership, raises awareness of pressing societal issues, and strengthens bonds within the congregation and community.
