Join us for a hauntingly good time as we blend eerie tales, your very own handcrafted candle and Iowa wines! Join The Cottage Candle Shop and The Wijn House as you sip your way through Iowa wines while pouring candles inspired by local legends like:
👻 The Penguin Lady – mysterious, chic, and just a little chilling
🪦 Oakwood Cemetery – a scent straight from the shadowy past
😱 The Screaming Lady – a fragrance that will send shivers (and maybe giggles) down your spine
We’ll share the spooky history behind each name, so you’ll leave with more than just beautiful candles—you’ll leave with stories to tell… if you dare.

-Cost $45.00 To choose your favorite candle scent and container to build your custom candle. While your candle is setting, head over to The Wijn House for a delicious glass of wine or a wine tasting.
