In this workshop, we explore Bachata Tradicional through the lens of Son — one of the foundational partner dances of the Caribbean. Son brings grounded movement, playful partner interaction, and a subtle musical conversation that influenced many social dances across the region. Through this approach, you’ll discover how these elements can blend naturally into Bachata Tradicional, adding more groove, rhythm, and connection between partners. This connection to the roots reminds us that Bachata Tradicional was never just about footwork — it was born from social dancing, shared energy, and the beautiful exchange between two people moving together.
BAILANDO CON FLOW is dedicated to sharing the joy, culture, and roots behind the dances we love. For them, salsa and bachata are more than steps — they’re music, history, and community. Their approach encourages dancers to move with confidence, listen deeply to the music, and develop their own style while staying connected to the authentic spirit of social dancing.
