Join us for a casual afternoon of connection at Lake Wilderness Park!
This meetup is open to:
Current homeschool families
Families considering homeschooling
Anyone with questions about getting started
Children are welcome to play at the playground while parents visit, ask questions, exchange ideas, and share experiences. Whether you're looking for curriculum suggestions, information about local co-ops, what a typical homeschool day looks like, or simply want to meet other homeschool families, this is a great opportunity to connect.
Date: Saturday, September 13
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: Lake Wilderness Park Playground, Maple Valley
We'll meet at one of the picnic tables if one is available. If not, a table will be set up nearby.
I'll provide:
Water, juice and light snacks
Coloring books and crayons
A printed list of homeschool resources and local information
Feel free to bring:
A camp chair or picnic blanket
Toys or outdoor games for your children
You'll also have the opportunity to hear about future family-friendly community events if you're interested.
This is a relaxed, informal gathering designed to encourage community, answer questions, and help families connect. We hope you'll join us!
