Still using The Master Genealogist (TMG)? You’re not alone—and you’re definitely among friends.
The Master Genealogist (TMG) is a long-established genealogy software program developed in the 1990s and still actively used today by both hobbyists and professionals. While official development ended some years ago, a strong national and international user community continues to support and enhance the program—and copies are still available for use.
This in-person user group has been meeting in Castle Rock for over a decade under the guidance of Cheryl Larson, who has led the group for more than ten years.
During these monthly meetups, participants:
• Share tips, workflows, and troubleshooting help
• Explore TMG’s powerful data-recording and reporting features
• Learn how to make the most of one of the most flexible genealogy programs ever created
TMG offers advanced capabilities that many genealogists still consider unmatched—especially for detailed data entry, customization, navigation, and reporting.
