👉🏽 A VARIETY of ORIGINAL races for DIFFERENT classes of 1/10 scale on road RC cars.
👉🏽The track: SIMPLE. Cones or Fire hose barriers.

Ottawa’s Parking lot Wars, RC Street Racing
RC Street Racing will be held on the last weekend of every month starting April 27th 2024 and will end October 26th 2025.
Street Racing will consist of different types of races and different classes of 1/10 scale on road RC cars. We want to try to keep it simple and fast for setup, just like a street race would be.
Type of Street Racing:
Double-elimination Race
A double-elimination race is a type of elimination race in which a participant ceases to be eligible to win the championship upon having lost two races.
Type of Street Racing:
Racing track may consist of different shape tracks.
We will race two cars at One time for three laps. The winner will Move on to the next round and the loser will go to the loser’s bracket.
Kid Class 12 and under:
1/10 Russler, bandit or SCT Bushed 2S.
or
1/10 on road cars.
Classes 1 - 1/10 Stock* street cars: “4 racer required to make a class”
2S Lipo & Brushed motors. “Speed below are based on 2S stock motor spec.”
HPI RS4 Sport 3, 21 MPH.
Tamiya TT01E/TT02 17 MPH.
Associated APEX2, 17 MPH.
Oil shocks, front CVD and full ball bearing are allowed.
Since this will be racing on pavement and gravel there is no tire restriction you can run any tires in any class.
NO Gyro allowed.
Classes 2 - 1/10 Stock* street cars: “4 racer required to make a class”
2S Lipo & Brushed motors. “Speed below are based on 2S stock motor spec.”
Kyosho Fazer MK2, 26 MPH.
Traxxas 4TEC 2.0/3.0 24 MPH.
Losi V100, 22 MPH.
Oil shocks, front CVD and full ball bearing are allowed.
Since this will be racing on pavement and gravel there is no tire restriction you can run any tires in any class.

Class 3 - 1/10 Mix Open class street cars: “4 racer required to make a class”
2S Lipo
On road Open class Brushless or Brushed on road 2x4 or 4x4.
Open class means you can upgrade anything on your car.
Since this will be racing on pavement and gravel there is no tire restriction you can run any tires in any class.
Gyro allowed.
Class 4 - 1/10 Mix Short Course trucks: “4 racer required to make a class”
2S Lipo
Open class Brushless or Brushed mix 2wd and 4x4 1/10 Short Course trucks,
The track will have jumps.

Prizes:
Portions of the money raised that day would go back towards the winners of first, second and third place.
Breakage:
If an on road stock car shocks, ESC or motor fails, it must be replaced with the same manufacturer's part.
Street Racing will consist of different types of races and different classes of 1/10 scale on road RC cars. The location will be at different spots throughout the city, location to be determined depending on availability. The track will consist of Cones or barriers. We want to try to keep it simple and fast for setup, just like a street race would be.

John Kennedy has been doing some research on brushed RTR 1/10 on road cars to use during these races, here's what he found for specs/performance (of box stock brushed top speed on 2S)
- Kyosho Fazer MK2 FZ02 or FZ02L (4WD oil gear diffs + oil shocks)
- ~26MPH
- Traxxas 4TEC 2.0/3.0 (4WD oil gear diffs + oil shocks)
- ~24MPH
- Losi V100 (this is old Vatterra V100) - (4WD, open front, locked rear diffs, FRICTION shocks)
- ~22MPH
- HPI RS4 Sport 3 - (4WD, oil gear diffs + oil shocks)
- ~21MPH
- Tamiya TT01E/TT02 - (4WD open front/rear diffs, FRICTION shocks, plastic bushings, not available as RTR, KIT only)
- ~17MPH
- Associated APEX2 (4WD open front/rear diffs, oil shocks, shorty battery only) APEX2SPORT cheaper with FRICTION shocks, Oillite Bushings)
- ~17MPH
