Any volunteers welcome!
Over the weekend of Saturday 1st March (Fri 28th Feb-Sun 2nd March) Trustees will be busy continuing work on bringing Wem's beloved Millennium Green back to its best!
So far we have cut down several trees, which were too tall for the space, cut back years of overgrown shrubs and small trees and developed space for much better planting moving forward.
During the weekend event we would welcome any volunteers who could:
-W**d
-prune
-strim
-barrow
-dig
-tidy up
Trustees will be on hand to advise and guide you, so don't worry if you haven't got much gardening experience!
Getting out in the fresh air, meeting new people and gardening all contribute to improving your mood!
Toilets and refreshments will be available in the Methodist Church across the road 😁
