🐣🥲 Sad Bunny News… 🥲🐣
We regret to inform you that due to some very un-hoppy circumstances (a.k.a. the weather being a total party pooper 🌧️), our Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for this Saturday, April 5th has been POSTPONED. Cue the dramatic bunny tears. 😢🐰
BUT! Don’t hop away just yet — the egg-citement has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 19th (same time, same place, just a little more sunshine and less sogginess ☀️). Stay tuned for more updates!
🐇 We’re still looking for ANY and ALL volunteers to help bring the magic — and the candy — to life!
We're meeting TODAY at 6 PM at the VFW to stuff treat bags!

Mark your calendars, grab your baskets, and get ready for some egg-citing fun! VFW 1848 is hosting a FREE Children's Easter Egg Hunt and Family Fun Event on Saturday, April 5, 2025—and you won’t want to miss it!
🎉 Festivities kick off at 10 AM! 🎉
🐣 Egg Hunt starts at 11 AM SHARP—flags will fly, and it’s GO time! 🏁
But wait—there’s more! We’re pulling out all the stops to make this event egg-stra special!
✅ Cooking apron decorating – Get creative and make a mess (the fun kind)!
✅ Tattoo booth – Don’t worry, parents, they’re the wipe-off kind!
✅ Vendor booths – Shop local and support small businesses!
✅ Food trucks – Menus will be posted soon (because hunting eggs builds an appetite)!
✅ Cold refreshments – Kid-friendly & adult-friendly, because parents deserve a treat too!
✅ Photo backdrops – Strike a pose with fun props & get a FREE family photo!
✅ Custom digital prints available for purchase – Because memories like these are priceless!
✅ And more surprises in store… including a visit from THE EASTER BUNNY! 🐰
