Friday–Sunday | April 3–5, 2026
✨ Come one, come all! This is a PUBLIC event! ✨
Join us for our annual Easter Gold Prospecting Outing in Clare, Michigan! A fun, family friendly weekend and a great opportunity to:
* Meet fellow prospectors
* Test and tune your equipment
* Shake off winter and get ready for the new gold season
Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned prospector, we’d love to have you out!
🎉 Weekend Activities
Saturday is packed with fun for the kids:
* 🐰 Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday around 12:00 PM
* $5 entry fee (includes a $5 Gold Pay Dirt bag for each child!)
* 🎣 Kids Fishing Contest (ages 12 and under)
* 🥇 Nugget Toss
* 🎯 Soft Darts Game
* 🥄 Gold Panning Station
* 🪏Seeded Metal Detecting area (all ages)
I’ll also be bringing extra pans and prospecting equipment so kids without their own gear can still participate and learn.
🌭 Saturday Potluck Lunch and raffle!
We’ll gather for a potluck lunch Saturday afternoon.
* We will provide hotdogs and chips
* Please bring:
* Your own drinks
* And if you’d like, your favorite dish to pass
* Plates and silverware provided
💲 Entry Fees
* $10 per person, per day*
* Kids 18 and under are FREE

* Rustic camping available on site
* $15 per night
