💖 Zahájení festivalu je vždy výjimečným večerem, kdy se po dlouhé době společně sejdeme, potkáme staré známé tváře a opět okusíme jedinečnou Pride atmosféru, která nám celý rok tak chyběla. Čeká tě večer plný kultovních hitů a osobností, které spoluvytvářejí (nejen) českou queer scénu – od klubového a drag matadorstva po nově zrozené hvězdy. Večerem provází charismatický Jan Witek.
🔥 Začneme v 17:30 s dvojicí ostřílených DJ veteránů. DJ Henriette je zakladatelka projektu Freedom Night, která na české klubové scéně září od roku 2004 a pravidelně se vrací na stage Prague Pride Festivalu. Po jejím boku se představí DJ Vilém, jeden z nejdéle hrajících housových DJs v Čechách, jehož kariéra započala v roce 1992 legendárním klubu Radost FX. Jeho sety jsou proslulé živým hudebnictvem na pódiu.
🔥 V 19:00 se na řadu dostane matka českého dragu Chi Chi Tornado – kultovní postava české travesti & drag scény s nezaměnitelným projevem, smyslem pro recesi a láskou k show. Bytost, jejíž život by vydal na pořádný bestseller.
🔥 V 19:15 uvítáme Chica Checa Pala Santa – drag personu oceňovaného herce Jana Ciny, která vznikla při natáčení nového filmu Šimona Holého Chica Checa. Provede tě svým světem, zákulisím filmu i vlastními touhami. Bude se tančit — a kdo ví, co ještě.
🔥 Ve 19:45 dorazí z Bratislavy zpěvák a muzikálový herec Laco Hudec Šubrt, aby nám představil svou jedinečnou drag personu Laziza Vuitton – je to bytost, která není jen performer, ale přímo zážitek. Zrodila se z třpytek, vyrostla z potlesku a žije pro momenty, kdy dýchá se svým publikem. Odvážná, hlasitá, nezaměnitelná.
🔥Večer završí od 20:00 speciální set DJ Jana Witka – hudební odysea Divas & Icons, která vzdává hold královnám a králům popu formujícím queer kulturu napříč dekádami. Od Madonny, Cher a George Michaela až po Lady Gagu, Chappell Roan a Troye Sivana.
🌈 Přijď oslavit hrdost, svobodu a hudbu, která nás spojuje a nutí tančit. Tohle bude nezapomenutelná noc, která otevírá letošní Prague Pride Festival. U toho nesmíš chybět! ❤️

💖 The Festival Opening is always one of the highlights of Prague Pride Festival—a chance to reunite after a year apart, catch up with familiar faces, and once again immerse yourself in the unique Pride atmosphere we've all been waiting for.
Expect an evening packed with iconic music and outstanding performers who have shaped—and continue to shape—the Czech queer scene, from legendary club and drag icons to exciting new stars. Your host for the evening is the charismatic Jan Witek.
🔥 The programme begins at 5:30 PM with two true veterans of the Czech club scene. DJ Henriette, founder of the legendary Freedom Night and a regular Prague Pride Festival favourite since 2004, will be joined by DJ Vilém, one of the country's longest-performing house DJs. He launched his career in the iconic Radost FX club in 1992 and is known for his energetic sets featuring live musicians on stage.
🔥 At 7:00 PM, the stage belongs to Chi Chi Tornado, the mother of Czech drag. A legendary figure of the Czech drag and travesti scene, Chi Chi is celebrated for her unmistakable style, sharp wit, and love of spectacular entertainment. A true icon whose life story could fill a bestselling memoir.
🔥 At 7:15 PM, we'll welcome Chica Checa Pala Santa, the drag persona of award-winning actor Jan Cina, created for Šimon Holý's new film Chica Checa. Expect an intimate glimpse into her world, the making of the film, and the dreams that brought her to life. There will be dancing—and who knows what else.
🔥 At 7:45 PM, singer and musical theatre performer Laco Hudec Šubrt arrives from Bratislava to introduce Laziza Vuitton, a drag persona that is more than a performer—it's an experience. Born from glitter, raised by applause, and living for the moments shared with the audience, Laziza is bold, glamorous, unforgettable.
🔥 From 8:00 PM, Jan Witek returns behind the decks with a special DJ set, Divas & Icons—a musical journey celebrating the queens and kings of pop who have shaped queer culture across generations. From Madonna, Cher, and George Michael to Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan, and Troye Sivan.
🌈 Come celebrate Pride, freedom, and the music that brings us together and keeps us dancing. Join us for an unforgettable night as we officially open this year's Prague Pride Festival. ❤️
