Ready to level up your West Coast Swing? Join us for an afternoon of dancing, learning, and pure fun on the floor! Whether you're brushing up your basics or diving into spins and turns, this workshop will leave you confident, creative, and ready to freestyle.
✨ What to Expect
This is a focused 3-hour West Coast Swing Workshop, followed by a 1-hour practice session to try everything out.
With over 30 years of partner dance teaching experience, George brings energy, expertise, and passion to every class. Trained in Modern Jive, Blues, and West Coast Swing, he’s not only an accomplished instructor but also a respected trainer and mentor to dance professionals across the UK.
A multiple competition winner, Ceroc X Midlands Champion, and two-time West Coast Swing Masters Champion (Detonation Dance), George has led winning teams at Blackpool and performed at the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games. His teaching blends technical precision with creativity and fun, helping dancers of all levels build confidence and skill.

💫 Spins & Turns Technique (in a Mini-Routine) — weave clean turns into a smooth combo

🎶 Practice Session — dance, ask questions, groove, and make it yours!
💡 What You’ll Get
By the end of the workshop, you’ll confidently lead and follow spins, turns, and variations of the starter and anchor steps — with enough moves to freestyle and start building your own routines on the social floor!

Brand new to West Coast Swing? You’re more than welcome! The first hour is beginner-friendly and perfect for jumping in.
The later sessions explore technique and creativity — so there’s something valuable for every level.
