A singer-songwriter from Stratford, Connecticut, Shannon began writing songs after receiving her first guitar at age nine and was performing publicly by the age of twelve. Her music blends contemporary folk with touches of country influence, carried by a warm and expressive voice often compared to Joan Baez and Natalie Merchant.
In addition to performing throughout Connecticut, Shannon has shared her music with international audiences in Second Life since 2008, creating a unique connection between virtual and physical music communities. Her accomplishments include being named a finalist in the 2015 Connecticut Folk Festival and an alternate in the Connecticut Folk songwriting contest.
