Welcome to Battle of the Bulk, a Pokémon TCG tournament where skill beats spending.
This is a beginner-friendly, low-cost event focused on creative deckbuilding using bulk cards instead of expensive, flashy ones.
🔥 Tournament Rules
💲 $1 MAX per card (market value)
❌ NO VMAX, EX, GX, V, or other flashy cards
✅ Any non-flashy card under $1 is allowed
🧠 Older Trainer cards are allowed as printed
👨‍⚖️ Judges’ call is final
If it’s shiny, fancy, or costs more than a dollar — it’s not allowed.
🧱 Deckbuilding Options
Bring your own deck built from your own cards
OR build a deck in-store using Retroville’s bulk stock
💰 Entry Fees
$10 Entry – Bring/build your own deck with your own cards
$5 Entry – Build a deck in-store using Retroville bulk
🧾 In-store builders must pay in-store before the event.
👥 Player Cap: 16 players

Check-in: 1:40 – 2:00 PM
Round 1: 2:00 PM
Round 2: ~2:50 PM
Meal Break: ~3:25 PM
Round 3: ~4:10 PM
Prizes & Wrap-Up: ~4:45–5:00 PM
🕒 Event runs approximately 4 hours

All entry fees are non-refundable if you are unable to attend.
Your spot is reserved once payment is received.
If you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the spot to another player.
