Join us this Veteran’s Day for a special free screening of From Iowa and Back: The Vietnam Era, a moving documentary that shares the powerful stories of Iowa veterans who served during the Vietnam era—both in combat and at home.We’re honored to host filmmaker Jeremy Glazier, who will join us for a live Q&A session after the film.
From the filmmaker:
“As this one is focused on Vietnam era veterans, all our other showings have involved the Veterans communities in and around the area we show it. I'm still collecting stories and offering an opportunity for any and all Iowa Veterans that served during the Vietnam era, combat and non-combat, to take part and share their stories. I do an on-camera interview and then take a portrait that will eventually become a book with as many as I can find.”
Come honor our veterans, hear their stories, and connect with our local community in this heartfelt evening of remembrance and reflection. 🇺🇸
