The Book & a Brush Summer Camp invites young artists to step inside their favorite stories and transform imagination into vibrant, hands-on creations. Led by Ms. Melanie, an experienced educator from ArtSpace Charter School, this camp is the perfect blend of high-energy creativity and "stealth" learning.
Each day starts with an engaging story that sparks curiosity, unfolding into an art-filled journey where campers paint, print, build, and collage their own inspired masterpieces. Beyond the mess and the fun, Ms. Melanie naturally weaves in elements of math, science, social studies, and reading, helping kids build confidence and a love for storytelling without even realizing they’re learning. It’s a week of imagining, laughing, and proudly bringing home art that tells a story—the perfect creative high to wrap up the summer.

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Ages: 5–10
Investment: $250 per camper ($50 sibling discount available)
