🎈 Beyond Messy Play in Irricana (Evening)

Did you know all children learn through play? Do you want to get out of the house and connect with other families? Parents attend with their children 0-12 years, this play program aims to bring people of all ages together, breaking down age-based stereotypes and allowing families to grow stronger by building connection. Parents are encouraged to follow the lead of their children regardless of age. For all participants child led play encourages social and cognitive development, fosters independence, builds intrinsic motivation and supports resilience. During this group a Parent Coach will provide parenting insights, answer questions about child behavior and development, and offer information on upcoming community programs and events as well as direct you to other community resources.
Activities are carefully chosen with stage of development and family diversity in mind. In this open concept space, you will find areas for dramatic play, indoor physical play, creative arts, sensory development and challenges for developing minds.
Age range: For parents/caregivers and children 0–12 years
