Burgundy, especially the whites, was never the same after he dropped his first “lemonade-style” Chardonnay in 2003: fresh, and full of air.Domaine de Chassorney is his treasure, the project that marked the start of his solo journey as a winemaker.

• Saint-Romain Combe Bazin – the wine that turned this tiny Burgundian AOC, nestled near Côte de Beaune, into a name to know.
• Saint-Romain Sous Roche – another of Fred’s parcels from the same commune.
• Savigny-les-Beaune Les Gollardes – freshness and power from the edge where Côte de Beaune meets Côte de Nuits.
• Pommard – metallic and long, a red in the modern style.
• Volnay – pure elegance. Fred works with Pinot Noir from this village like no one else.
