Hertford in Bloom is back, and we’re inviting the whole community to get involved in Hertford’s town-wide gardening competition.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, enthusiastic beginner, proud plant parent, or someone with just a few pots outside the front door, there’s a category for you 🌿
From beautiful front gardens and blooming balconies to cafés, schools, businesses, community spaces and allotments, Hertford in Bloom celebrates the spaces that make our town special.
🌼 FREE to enter
🌿 Open to SG13 & SG14 areas
🏡 Categories for residents, schools, community groups & businesses
🌻 Plus our Tallest Sunflower Competition for under 16s
Categories include: • Best Front Garden
• Best Small Garden Frontage or Balcony
• Best Hanging Basket / Window Box
• Best Café, Restaurant or Business Display
• Best School Garden
• Wildlife & Environmental Plots (including allotments)
