Join us for a free, informative rose pruning event led by the experts from the Portland Rose Society! Whether you’re new to roses or a seasoned grower, this is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and get ready for the growing season.🕚 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Information Tables Open
• Portland Rose Society members available for questions
• Pruner sharpening & cleaning (bring your favorite pair of hand pruners — limit one per person, no loppers please)
• Soil pH testing available
🕛 12:00 PM | Rose Pruning Demonstration
The pruning demo will begin promptly at noon, followed by a Q & A session.
🌱 Soil Sample Instructions (for pH testing):
• Bring at least a 2-cup soil sample
• Place in a plastic bag labeled with your name and contact information
• Collect soil by scraping the top 2 inches of garden soil
This is a free event, and all are welcome. We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of learning and rose care tips!
