Join us for a 5-course romantic Greek dinner at Dos Mariposas Vineyards! 🍇 This special Valentine's Day event will take you on a culinary journey through Greece, featuring a Tour De Force of Greek specialties, with dishes from many parts of Greece, including Chef Platon’s home island of Crete. We’ll be using fresh ingredients, including those Chef Platon brought back from Greece, like Spartan Olive Oil.Menu Highlights:
• Hors d’Oeuvres: Flaming Saganaki Cheese from Athens, with Ouzo, Cumin Roasted Garlic, Fresh Lemon, and Green Peppercorns.
• Salad: Heart of Golden Beet & Pistachio Goat Cheese Salad from Crete, with Fresh Pea Greens, Caracara Orange, and Marcona Almonds.
• Fish: Alderwood Smoked Trout and Sweet Potato Phyllo Pastry from Northern Greece, with Fresh Dill and Persian Cucumber Tzatziki.
• Entrée: Slow-Cooked Beef Short Rib Stifado in Parchment from Sparta, with Red Wine, All Spice, Pearl Onions, Cherry Tomatoes, and Spartan Olive Oil Roasted Winter Root Vegetables.
• Dessert: Metaxa Brandy and Greek Chocolate Almond Torte from Santorini, soaked in Poached Lemon Syrup, topped with Candied Blood Orange, and served with Almond Cream.
