Navratri is just around the corner, and what better way to get into the festive spirit than learning the joyful dance of Garba? 🥁💃 Together with Gujarati Samaj Magdeburg, we are excited to invite you to a free Garba workshop right here in the heart of the city.
✨ What is Navratri?
Navratri (literally “nine nights”) is one of India’s most vibrant festivals, celebrating the victory of good over evil and honoring the goddess Durga. Across India, it is celebrated with music, dance, colors, and togetherness.
✨ What is Garba?
Garba is a traditional Gujarati folk dance performed in circles with clapping, graceful steps, and lots of energy! It’s not just dance – it’s about rhythm, community, and joy. Whether you’re a beginner or already know a few moves, this workshop is open for everyone.
