📌Interested in this event? We'd love to have you! Please make a booking via our website to confirm your spot: https://volunteerportal.conservationvolunteers.com.au/s/make-booking?id=a0rMn00001Kt6qOIAR🌊We'll be back at Tyndall Beach to remove more marram grass! Join us in this powerful and meaningful endeavour, as we are making room for natives to be planted by the wonderful local coast care group!
🌱 We'll be working in the dunes, using forks to dig out the grass, and using wheelbarrows to take it all the way back to the carpark. It's a fun activity, good exercise, and such a lovely spot to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life!
🚶By joining us you will spend a couple of hours in nature, hear the sounds of the ocean and the shorebirds and have a great view of the estuary - of both the piramina (Browns River) and the timtumili minanya (Derwent River).
👖Please ensure you wear long-sleeved pants, a long-sleeved shirt, a hat and fully enclosed shoes. Please also bring your own drinking water.
Please note that there are dogs off-lead at this site.
❔If you have any questions about this event, or if you'd like to register a group of volunteers, please message Janine on [email protected].
