Celebrate the summer solstice with one of our sell-out dinners at the Discovery Centre! Enjoy the perfect comfort food with an unbeatable view from our café windows. You might spot some birds during your evening, perhaps Avocets, Oystercatchers or the elegant Little Egret...
Start with homemade Pea & Mint soup served with croutons. Then choose from fine locally-made pies: Steak & Ale, Lamb & Mint, Chicken & Asparagus or Mushroom & Spinach. Served with the perfect accompaniment of mashed local potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and the all-important gravy!
For dessert, choose from Lemon Meringue Roulade or Bakewell Tart, served with cream, ice cream or custard. To ask about a vegan option, email us on: [email protected]
It’s a ‘bring your own’ evening with no corkage fee. So bring your favourite wine, or a refreshing beer! Cold, non-alcoholic drinks and teas & coffees will be available to buy.
The price for three courses is £29.95 per person. Our child (or small appetite) half-size portion is £15.95. Proceeds from this event support Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and the Discovery Centre.
