Join us as we celebrate Ferragosto, one of Italyโs most beloved summer traditions, with a relaxed community picnic!
Whether you were born in Italy, have Italian roots, or simply love Italian culture, weโd love to meet you. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other local families, make new friends, let the kids play, and enjoy a beautiful summer day together.

What to bring:
๐งบ Your own lunch and drinks
๐ช A picnic blanket or lawn chairs
โฝ Games, soccer balls, bubbles, or anything youโd like to share with your family
There will be no organized food or activitiesโthe idea is simply to enjoy each otherโs company and celebrate Ferragosto in true Italian style.
Important:
โข Admission to Earl Rowe Provincial Park is not included. Each vehicle is responsible for paying the regular Ontario Parks day-use fee (or using a valid Ontario Parks pass).
โข Weโre currently planning this as an informal gathering. Depending on the number of RSVPs, we may reserve a picnic shelter and will post any updates here.
