✨️ Crime and Compassion Pop-up ✨️

Crime & Compassion will be set up to speak with readers about the nonprofit, the writers they work with, the programs inside Mabel Bassett Correctional Center, and ways people can volunteer, donate, and get involved. The centerpiece of the event will be a huge raffle basket with more than $1,000 worth of donated goods, gift cards, and services from local businesses. There will be several ways for readers to earn raffle entries throughout the event: Buy a banned book from the bookstore = 1 entry per book. Purchase a READ BANNED PEOPLE shirt from Crime & Compassion = 2 entries.
