現代音楽アンサンブル《Synaesthesis》特別演奏会【東京公演】

リトアニアを代表する芸術家、M.K.チュルリョーニス（1875–1911）の生誕150周年を記念する文化イベントプログラム「日本におけるチュルヨーニス」の一環として、ヴィリニュスの現代音楽アンサンブル《Synaesthesis》が、作曲家ドミニカス・ディギマスの作品《Čiurlionis. Slowed and Reverb》を日本で初めて演奏します。
本作は、チュルリョーニスのピアノ小品《前奏曲 ニ短調》を素材に、その和声構造を保ちながら音を極限まで引き伸ばすことで再構成した作品です。旋律はほとんど知覚されない速度へと変容し、個々の音は建築空間の残響と溶け合いながら、静止した時間のなかに漂います。
東京カテドラルの豊かな残響の中で、音楽を「空間のなかで体験」し、この作品の精神世界をぜひ、深く味わってみてください。

As part of a cultural program "Čiurlionis in Japan" celebrating the 150th anniversary of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis (1875–1911), the Vilnius-based contemporary music ensemble Synaesthesis will present the Japan premiere of a composition 'Čiurlionis. Slowed and Reverb' by composer Dominykas Digimas.
This work is based on Čiurlionis’s piano miniature Prelude in D minor (VL 239), preserving its harmonic structure while radically stretching time. The result transforms the music into a near-static soundscape, where melody becomes almost imperceptible and individual tones merge with the architectural resonance of the space, drifting in suspended time.
