フェーレ・ジャパン2026のプログラムとして6月13日（土）にトーキョーコンサーツ・ラボで行われる2種類のダンスワークショップ。講師はサマンサ・ハーベイ。素敵なダンスステップを覚えましょう。
👞 6月13日（土）10:00 - 11:30 シャンノース・ワークショップ　
軽快なステップをほぼ即興で繰り広げるソロダンス、「シャンノース（Sean-nós）」の基礎ステップから応用ステップまでを学びます。
アイルランド語で「古いスタイル」という意味のシャンノースは、アイルランドの伝統的なダンスチューンに合わせ、かかとや足の先でアクセントとなる音を立てながら踊るソロダンスで、一般的にはアイルランド西部のコネマラ地方で踊られてきたダンスの形式を指します。
シャンノースの魅力の1つは、ダンサー一人ひとりが作り上げるダンススタイル。
お気に入りのステップを組み合わせて、曲に合わせて即興的に踊っていきます。
ほかのアイルランドのソロダンスにある「上半身を動かさない」等のルールもないため、比較的自由なスタイルで踊ることのできるダンスです。
サマンサはパフォーマーとして定評があるダンサーで、リズム感やステップの軽やかさが抜群です。
ダンスの名手から技を学びつつ、自分のスタイルを作り上げていくのがシャンノースの醍醐味です。サマンサから学ぶことのできる貴重な機会をお見逃しなく！
👞6月13日（土）12:00 - 13:30 クレアスタイルのバタリング（ソロ）ワークショップ
クレアスタイルのバタリングステップを、基礎から応用までソロダンスとして学ぶワークショップです。
ソロで楽しく踊れるだけでなく、セットダンスにも活かせるステップを習得できます。
ダンサーとして活躍するサマンサ・ハーベイから、クレアスタイルのバタリングを使ったの基礎や応用ステップを学びましょう！ソロでステップを踊るクラスです。
多くのクレア・セットで使われるバタリングステップは、セットダンサーの憧れ。名人ダンサーたちは基礎ステップから自分のスタイルに合わせた応用ステップまで多彩なステップで人びとを魅了します。
今回のワークショップはサマンサがアイルランドで名人ダンサーと踊るなかで身につけたバタリングの基礎と、彼女がアレンジしたソロのダンスでも映える応用ステップを教えてくれる予定です。セットダンサーも、ステップダンサーも、シャンノースダンサーも大歓迎。踊りながらダンスの「ノリ」を感じられることでしょう。
※靴は底が固く、滑り止めのついていないもの（革靴等）がおすすめです。

There will be two dance workshops taught by Samantha Harvey at Tokyo Concerts Lab (Waseda) on Saturday, June 13.
10:00–11:30 | Sean-nós Dance Workshop
You can learn both basic and advanced Connemara-style sean-nós steps. “Sean-nós” means “old style” in Irish and is danced to traditional tunes with percussive footwork using the toes and heels. Unlike modern competition step dance, it emphasizes a personal, spontaneous style with free upper-body movement, which attracts many people today. Samantha Harvey is a highly talented dancer, known for her light, rhythmic steps. Don’t miss the chance to learn her masterful techniques.
12:00–13:30 | Clare Battering Solo Workshop
Clare-style battering steps will be taught by Samantha for both beginners and intermediate dancers. Battering steps are often used in Clare sets, and the skillful steps of renowned dancers are truly enchanting. In this workshop, you will practice solo steps that Samantha has created based on her dancing experience in Ireland. Not only set dancers, but also step dancers and sean-nós dancers are welcome. Feel the lift of the dance.
