About this Event
Toronto Hong Kong Parents Group is hosting a free tax filing clinic on Sunday, March 29, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Scarborough Civic Centre. This event is part of the Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), designed to provide free tax assistance to eligible individuals and families.

Parking Information
Participants may use the Staff Parking Lot. Please use the intercom to contact security for access before entering the lot.
Registration Guidelines
- Please reserve one time slot (one ticket) per family.
- Each tax filing session is scheduled for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Eligibility: Participants must meet the CRA’s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) eligibility requirements. We will be unable to provide services to those who do not qualify.
What to Bring
Please bring all relevant tax documents, including:
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Social Insurance Number (SIN)
- Tax slips (e.g., T4, T5, T5007, T2202)
- Rent or property tax receipts
- Medical expense receipts
- Charitable donation receipts
- Childcare expense receipts
- Your Notice of Assessment (NOA) from last year

- Services are provided in Cantonese or English only.
- This event is strictly for individuals or families eligible under the CVITP.
