來自紐約爵士現場最具活力的新世代聲音，由台灣鐵琴手 Jack Huang（⿈亦翔）、日本貝斯手 Shuji Watanabe（渡邊修二），以及美國鼓手 Quinton Cain 所組成。三位音樂家皆活躍於紐約爵士界，因曼哈頓音樂學院（Manhattan School of Music）的學術背景結緣，並各自的演出足跡遍及 Jazz at Lincoln Center 旗下的 Dizzy’s Club、Smalls Jazz Club、Birdland、Kennedy Center 等多座重要場館。
在紐約多元的創作環境與跨文化合作中，他們逐漸形成高度默契。以亞洲文化的細膩感知為養分，結合紐約爵士的開創精神，發展出獨特而富深度的當代爵士語彙。
此次演出將呈現他們對紐約爵士傳統的承襲，以及亞洲文化中靈動與內斂的質地，形構出一場跨越地域與文化的國際當代爵士體驗。

▌Jack Huang⿈亦翔｜Vibraphone
⿈亦翔（Jack Huang）來⾃台灣宜蘭，是⼀位鐵琴⼿、鋼琴家、打擊樂⼿與作曲者，以細膩的⾳⾊與深沉的聆聽⼒著稱。
他的⾳樂融合台灣⽂化的靜謐氣質與紐約爵⼠的即興能量，透過開放的⾳場與真誠的旋律語彙，探索情感、記憶與靈性之間的連結。
他⾃紐約曼哈頓⾳樂學院取得爵⼠鐵琴碩⼠學位，師事 Joel Ross、Marc Cary、Jaleel Shaw 與 Patricia Brennan，發展出兼具旋律線條與節奏張⼒的個⼈聲⾳。
2025 年，他入選美國⽢迺迪中⼼ Betty Carter Jazz Ahead 國際青年爵⼠藝術家駐村計畫，由 Jason Moran 指導，並與 Marc Cary、Mimi Jones、Nate Smith、Jimmy Greene、Carmen Lundy 等傑出⾳樂家交流合作，進⼀步深化他對敘事、聲⾳與真誠創作的追求。
演出⾜跡包括 Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club、The Jazz Gallery、Smalls Jazz Club、Nublu、Jazz Showcase，以及台北 Blue Note、國家⾳樂廳、衛武營、東京 No Room For Square、⾸爾 Club Evans 等場館。
⾳樂節演出包含紐約 Winter Jazz Festival、Jersey City Latin Jazz Festival 與台中爵⼠⾳樂節。
他同時為跨國組合 3:130 Trio 的共同發起⼈，與來⾃⽇本與韓國的⾳樂家合作，每年於亞洲巡演。現居紐約的他，持續以聲⾳作為媒介，在靜與動之間尋找誠實、共鳴與光。
Jack Huang (⿈亦翔) is a Taiwanese vibraphonist, pianist, percussionist, and composer whose music blends the meditative lyricism of his Taiwanese heritage with the improvisational spirit of New York’s jazz scene. His sound explores stillness, resonance, and transformation, creating intimate spaces for reflection and emotional connection.
A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music with a Master’s degree in Jazz Vibraphone, Huang studied with Joel Ross, Marc Cary, Jaleel Shaw, and Patricia Brennan. In 2025, he was selected as a Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Artist at The Kennedy Center, an international residency led by Jason Moran. There, he worked closely with an extraordinary faculty including Marc Cary, Mimi Jones, Nate Smith, Jimmy Greene, and Carmen Lundy, deepening his approach to storytelling and composition through mentorship that emphasized individuality and honesty in sound.
Huang has performed at leading venues including Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club, The Jazz Gallery, Smalls Jazz Club, Nublu, Jazz Showcase, Blue Note Taipei, the National Concert Hall (Taiwan), and venues in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Seoul. Festival appearances include the New York Winter Jazz Festival, Jersey City Latin Jazz Festival, and Taichung Jazz Festival.
He is the co-leader of the cross-cultural 3:130 Trio, touring across Asia annually.
Now based in New York City, Huang continues to develop a voice rooted in sincerity, curiosity, and resonance.
▌Shuji Watanabe 渡邊 修⼆｜Double bass
Shuji Watanabe 是⾙斯⼿、作曲家與教育者，來⾃⽇本京都。他⾃ 3 歲學習古典鋼琴，於⼤阪市⽴⼤學開始演奏電⾙斯與低⾳提琴，並活躍於京都、⼤阪、神⼾地區。之後獲獎學⾦前往伯克利⾳樂學院，並加入由葛萊美獎鋼琴家 Danilo Pérez 主導的 Berklee Global Jazz Institute，師從 Joe Lovano、Terri Lyne Carrington、John Patitucci 等⾳樂家。
2019 年，他獲 Ron Carter 推薦並取得獎學⾦入學曼哈頓⾳樂學院（Manhattan School of Music）碩⼠班，師從 Ron Carter 與 Buster Williams。2023 年，Shuji 與 Evan Main、Steven Crammer、Eliana Fishbeyn、Emmanuel Michael 及 Jaleel Shaw 錄製⾸張專輯，將於 2025 發⾏。
Shuji 曾與 Wycliffe Gordon 及其四重奏於紐約 Birdland 演出，並參與 Harriet Tubman Freedom Music Festival。他亦為樂團 The Outside In 成員，於紐約與美國西岸巡演，並發⾏《Live At Brooklyn》與 Dayna Stephens 合作。

Shuji Watanabe is a bassist, composer, and educator from Kyoto, Japan. He began classical piano at age three, later picking up electric and upright bass while studying at Osaka City University, performing throughout Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe.
Shuji received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, where he joined the Berklee Global Jazz Institute directed by Grammy-winning pianist Danilo Pérez, studying with Joe Lovano, Terri Lyne Carrington, John Patitucci, and more. He later earned his master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music under the mentorship of Ron Carter and Buster Williams.
In 2023, he recorded his debut album with Evan Main, Steven Crammer, Eliana Fishbeyn, Emmanuel Michael, and Jaleel Shaw, scheduled for release in 2025.
That same year, he performed at Birdland in New York with Wycliffe Gordon. He also performed at the Harriet Tubman Freedom Music Festival in 2022 alongside Gordon and choreographer Sean McLeod.
Shuji is a member of The Outside In, a fusion/rock/jazz group led by Ethan Ostrow, performing regularly in NYC and touring the Bay Area, releasing their debut album Live at Brooklyn featuring Dayna Stephens. He has collaborated with artists internationally including Max Buettner's Collective (Germany) and Sang Jun Lim (Korea/Canada).
He has appeared at venues such as Dizzy’s Club, Birdland, Smalls, Chris's Jazz Cafe, Rockwood Music Hall, Berklee Performance Center, Bimhuis, and Alfie, performing with Wycliffe Gordon, Dayna Stephens, Jaleel Shaw, Rogerio Boccato, John Beasley, Jon Faddis, Jacques Schwarz-Bart, and others.
▌Quinton Cain｜Drums
來⾃美國堪薩斯市的 Quinton，⾃幼便對⿎產⽣濃厚興趣。隨著家⼈搬至紐約州奧伯尼，他在成長過程中持續投入演奏並累積經驗，最終選擇就讀紐約曼哈頓⾳樂學院（Manhattan School of Music）。在校期間，他在多種編制與演出場合中表現活躍，並曾與學校爵⼠⼤樂團於紐約 Dizzy’s Club 演出。
⾃ 2022 年 5 ⽉取得學⼠學位後，Quinton 快速成為同輩⾳樂⼈眼中炙⼿可熱的⿎⼿之⼀，演出⾜跡遍及 Nublu、Ornithology Jazz Club、Vortex、Chris’ Jazz Cafe 以及 Jazz Showcase 等重要場館。他亦於美國⽢迺迪中⼼ Betty Carter Jazz Ahead 國際青年爵⼠藝術家駐村計畫（2022）獲選並演出。
⽬前旅居布魯克林的他，持續創作原創⾳樂，並以優秀的合作能⼒活躍於多個樂團與計畫中。Quinton 曾師從 Buster Williams、John Riley 與 Stefon Harris，並與 Dayna Stephens、Billy Drewes、Dezron Douglas 與 David Berkman 等多位⾳樂家同台演出。
A Kansas City native, Quinton’s interest in drums started early on. After moving to Albany, New York and playing more throughout his adolescent years, Quinton decided that The Manhattan School of Music was right for him. During his time at the conservatory, he performed in many ensembles and settings, including with the MSM jazz orchestra at Dizzy’s Jazz Club.
After earning his Bachelor’s degree in May of 2022, Quinton has quickly become an in-demand musician amongst his peers, having played at Nublu, Ornithology Jazz Club, Vortex, Chris’ Jazz Cafe, and The Kennedy Center (Betty Carter Jazz Ahead
2022), among other venues of note. Currently living in Brooklyn, he continually works on original music of his own to present to audiences around the world, as well being a capable sideman for his contemporaries. Quinton has been mentored by stalwarts of the music such as Buster Williams, John Riley, and Stefon Harris, and has shared the stage with myriad musicians, including Dayna Stephens, Billy Drewes, Dezron Douglas, and David Berkman.
