MIXED NETBALL it is Harlo and my final circle as your socials.
A very bittersweet moment because we know you are in excellent hands, but still, we will miss yelling at you, laughing with you and seeing all of you at your most questionable and hilarious moments.
Really honestly, I came to the club through the socials (shoutout to Williams who invited me back even though I was so annoying) but stayed for the wonderful people (and sport ofc) - so from the both of us, a very big thank you for all be so lovely this year. Make sure for this week your left and rights are FINALLY clear. if you don’t know what you did wrong, DRINK, then find out. And let’s do this final week correctly with full energy and passion.
Costumes for this are simple, might be called Kash v Harlo, but it’s more you ‘against’ us (will make sense later on) Dress up as either social - it can be an iconic circle outfit, a fit you just like or anything creative you can think of which is identifiable as us! Make sure if you want to borrow our clothes to please text us in advance (sharing is caring, we promise to do so!)
Now, after a whole year of us screaming in your faces and making you look like fools (though it’s just your own problem if you still don’t know German or you call me FAT at this point) … I’m sure you are fed up, angry even? Here is your chance at a tad bit of revenge (mwahahahaha, to clarify this was an evil laugh not a kissing sound effect)... In preparation for our final circle and in keeping with tradition, after you have CLICKED GOING you will be put into a group chat with either myself or Kash to devise ‘challenges’ for the other social: these are anything from physical challenges to things linking to that social's costumes or life… These are generally hard or make us look silly, for your amusement. You will come up with 3 challenges for whichever social.
These groups will be made on Monday so please click going as soon as possible! After this, people will be added when they click going however may miss parts of the challenges being decided.
(Now for the slightly emotional bit) MIXED NETBALL, we are calling you one final time to the copper rooms: bring yourselves and ALL the energy you can muster because we are going out with a bang (pun intended). Looking back over the last year, from the chants to the long arms to the lost voices and even my purple angel in handover circle: it has been a blast. Myself and Kash have loved every second of being your social secs so we are truly excited to celebrate that in a somewhat humiliating fashion! Mixed Netball will always be big and strong, but even better than that, maybe when I sit down there will be someone who WON’T GET THEIR GERMAN WRONG! (Suckers thought I would end it on an emotional note, ha.)
We will see you on Wednesday for one final time‼️
