Capoeira Angola ECAMAR – Gold Coast is excited to announce that we will be hosting a special event with Mestre Roxinho as we celebrate 20 years of Ginga de Resiliência and ECAMAR.
We look forward to sharing this meaningful milestone with the Capoeira community in SEQ and Northern NSW!!!
Mestre Roxinho is a Capoeira Angola master dedicated to the preservation and transmission of this ancestral Afro-Brazilian tradition. His work goes far beyond teaching movement and music, extending into social and community engagement grounded in the philosophical principles of Bantu cosmovision. These principles foster learning, respect, community, connectedness, empowerment, and care, with Capoeira Angola serving as a living practice for cultural continuity, social connection, and personal transformation.
You can expect rich knowledge sharing, music and movement workshops, open conversations, rodas, and plenty of axé!!!
