{HU} A ‘Szürreális Hétvége’ egy háromnapos alternatív hangszeres zenei fesztivál, amely október 31-én és november 1-jén a Három Hollóban valamint november 2-án a Gólyában kerül megrendezésre. A fesztivál organikus módon jött létre: eredetileg mindhárom nap két különböző és önálló kezdeményezésként indult (az Inverted Spectrum Records és a Sauropoda gondozásában), viszont a szervezők rájöttek, hogy a rendezvénysorozat egységes tematikára épül. Azáltal, hogy ezeket az eseményeket egy tematika alá rendeztük, szeretnénk felhívni a figyelmet, hogy Budapest egy különleges hétvége tanúja lesz október 31. és november 1. között, tele pszichedelikus jazzel, space funkkal, szabad improvizációval, progresszív folkkal és surf punkkal.
{EN} Surreal Weekend is a three day festival of alternative instrumental music which will take place in Három Holló (October 31 and November 1) and Gólya (November 2). The festival arose naturally: initially, all three days were organized as independent programs by two different entities (Inverted Spectrum Records and Sauropoda) who discovered only later that they are hosting similar-minded events on consecutive days. By bringing these events under one title, we wanted to highlight that Budapest will witness a special weekend from October 31 to November 1 full of psychedelic jazz, space funk, free improvisation, progressive folk and surf punk.

{HU} Akárcsak az azonos nevű étel, a Moussaka is a klasszikus összetevők és a nem klasszikus hozzávalók fűszeres keveréke, az 1950-es évek eredeti gitáriskolájától az 1980-as évek újonnan komponált jugoszláv esztétikájáig. Zenéjükben önálló műfajjá egyesül a kaliforniai szörfrock és a balkáni zenei hagyományok hatása, a tört, de erős ritmusok és dallamok, valamint az érzelmek és a nosztalgia egyedülálló keveréke, a távoli meridiánok integrálásával, amelyek így megmutathatják, hogy a Dunán, a Száván és a Morván is lehet tökéletes hullámot lovagolni.
A Moussaka tagjai: Igor Mitić (gitár), Pjer Živič (gitár), Davor Sopić (basszusgitár), Vasilije Đukić (dobok).
Just like the dish of the same name, Moussaka is a blend of a spicy mix of classic ingredients and non-classical spices, from the original guitar school of the 1950s to the newly composed Yugoslav aesthetics of the 1980s. The incredible closeness of California surf rock and the Balkan musical tradition, broken but strong rhythms and melodies, emotions and nostalgia will come together in a unique genre and unite the distant meridians, and show you that even on the Danube, Sava and Morava you can ride on a perfect wave.

▸MICRODOSEMIKE
{HU} A microdosemike jelenleg Budapest egyik legizgalmasabb élő fellépője: a zenekar a magyar, balkáni és közel-keleti dallamokat zökkenőmentesen ötvözi komplex és groove-os dobmintákkal, pszichedelikus szintetizátorokkal és jazzes fúvósokkal. Az eredmény egy csodálatos hangzás, egyedi hangulat és egy nagyszerű buli. Második albumuk „Ekhidna” címmel tavaly novemberben jelent meg.
{EN} microdosemike is currently one of the most exciting live acts in Budapest, seamlessly blending Hungarian, Balkan and Middle Eastern melodies, complex and groovy drum patterns, psychedelic synths, and jazz brass, which results in a magnificent sound, unique atmosphere, and a great party. Their second album “Ekhidna” was published last November.

{HU} Işık Sarıhan a török Hayvanlar Alemi pszichedelikus folk rock zenekar tagja és a kiadó, booking ügynökség és koncert/fesztiválszervező Inverted Spectrum Records alapítója, amely a magyarországi, szerbiai és török underground zenei színtérre összpontosít. A fellépések előtt a világ minden tájáról származó, régi és kortárs psych rock, szörf és folk pop zenékkel melegíti be a hangulatot.
{EN} Işık Sarıhan is a member of the Turkish psychedelic folk rock band Hayvanlar Alemi and the founder of Inverted Spectrum Records, a label, a booking agency, and concert/festival organization initiative that focuses on the underground music scene in Hungary, Serbia and Turkey. He will be warming up the atmosphere before the live sets with psych rock, surf, and folk pop from around the world, both old and contemporary.
