Du 5 au 10 mai 2026, Satellite Théâtre vous donne rendez-vous pour la 2e édition du Pique-nique théâtral. Pensé comme un rendez-vous entre le milieu artistique et la communauté, le Pique-nique réunit pendant 5 jours des artistes professionnel•lles, des participant•es de l’École de création, des étudiant•es en formation, des partenaires communautaires et un public curieux dans une même ambiance. On y vient pour découvrir le théâtre sous toutes ses formes : œuvres en développement, discussions, tables rondes, conférences, atelier gratuit de théâtre physique, réseautage, auditions ouvertes et bien d’autres surprises à ne pas manquer !
Et en parlant de surprises, laissez-vous transporter par une proposition rare : un concept théâtral que vous ne voulez pas manquer : Lapin Blanc, Lapin Rouge de Nassim Soleimanpour (14+)
Cette année, le Pique-nique théâtral accueille une expérience unique et rare : 5 représentations de Lapin Blanc, Lapin Rouge de Nassim Soleimanpour, présentées en français, en anglais et en arabe. Conçu comme un spectacle de lecture à froid, sans répétitions préalables et avec un•e interprète différent•e à chaque représentation, comédien•nes et spectateur•ices découvrent en direct, le texte au même moment 😮.

En 2024, le Pique-nique théâtral a réuni environ 260 spectateurs. Cette nouvelle édition poursuit cet élan avec le désir clair d’ancrer à Moncton un rendez-vous culturel durable, accessible et vibrant, où le théâtre est perçu comme un espace de partage entre les diverses communautés qui constituent notre territoire.

From May 5 to 10, 2026, Satellite Théâtre invites you to the 2nd edition of the Pique-nique théâtral. Designed as a meeting point between the artistic community and the broader public, the Pique-nique brings together, over five days, professional artists, participants from the École de création, students in training, community partners, and curious audiences in one shared atmosphere. It is a place to discover theatre in all its forms: works in development, discussions, round tables, talks, a free physical theatre workshop, networking, open auditions, and many other surprises you won’t want to miss!
And speaking of surprises, let yourself be carried away by a rare theatrical proposal: a concept you truly do not want to miss: White Rabbit, Red Rabbit by Nassim Soleimanpour (14+).
This year, the Pique-nique théâtral welcomes a unique and rare experience: five performances of White Rabbit, Red Rabbit by Nassim Soleimanpour, presented in French, English, and Arabic. Conceived as a cold-reading performance, with no prior rehearsals and a different performer at each presentation, both actors and audiences discover the text live, at the very same time 😱.
