Meet the artist: Naomi is a multidisciplinary visual artist born in India and based in Vancouver. Her practice is rooted in community, culture and introspection, mirroring the paradoxical nature of her works. She works with found objects, textile, painting, printing, illustrations and writing. Moving between large-scale public works and intimate studio processes, her work explores storytelling and how it enriches the human experience.
We’ll be colouring illustrations pulled straight from her collections.
Bring your own art or craft projects if you like! We’ll have some supplies ready (crayons, pens, paint, and more), but your favourite tools are always welcome.
