Our faith has compelled us to do a free food event for the community. Local BBQ legends Jake & Jill’s BBQ will be cooking the pulled pork for the event, putting a name you can trust on the cook of the meat. So, HUGE shout out to them! We will be cooking 50-55 butts, around 275lbs of pulled pork when all cooked. The meat is being sourced through Meat Monkey Meat Sales, HUGE shout out to them as well. The Otsego Food Pantry is donating chips and beans. McDonald’s of Gaylord will be donating all the buns for the sandwich’s. So HUGE shout to them as well! We will first deliver pork to the retirement communities in the area, then open to the public at the E-Free Church. We will be accepting donations at the event. Of the received donations 25% will be going to E-Free for being awesome enough to allow us to do this there, some will go to help absorb the cost of the event, and the remaining will be used to help buy supplies and goods for those in need in the area. If this goes good, we may make it an annual thing and do a different town next year. God bless you all! 🙏🙌🙏
