AKRAL NECROSIS [RO] – The Bucharest black metal veterans formed in 2006 bring their relentless and intricate approach to the genre, blending extreme black metal blast beats with crushing thrash and death-injected darkness. Known for their storytelling prowess and atmospheric intensity, they've been one of Romania's most constant and remarkable black metal forces for nearly two decades.
ACID DEATH [GR] – The legendary Athens-based progressive/technical death metal pioneers, celebrating 35 years of career with their groundbreaking sound. Their latest album "Evolution" (2025) delivers modern progressive death metal with intricate riffs, virtuoso solos, and complex compositions that demand multiple listens. Pioneers of the Greek prog-death scene since the 90s, they balance brutal aggression with progressive sophistication.
