Join us Saturday, October 12th at the Special Olympics Gym to socialize, play, and build a community for families who have a child between the ages of 0-12, with a disability or rare disease in the Sioux Falls area. This is a FREE event, no registration needed! Siblings welcome, guardian required.We will be there from 2:30 - 4:30 PM and you are welcome to come and go as it works for your family during those hours.
It's a great space for kiddos of all ages and abilities to play while giving parents a chance to chat! There will be games and equipment out for the kiddos to play with, including a mat with toys for babies and non-mobile toddlers, and basketball for any big kids, older siblings or adults who want to shoot some hoops . We will also have games and activities available at tables.
The gym is the perfect place to test out any new mobility equipment, since it's spacious and flat, and you are welcome to bring your own items. We do ask that ride-on toys be left at home.
