🎻 Langley Community Music School and Music on Main are delighted to present The Kessler Academy String Orchestra to our community for a beautiful, free summer concert!
Following an intensive week-long mentorship program, rising young string professionals and advanced students will take the Rose Gellert Hall stage alongside the Microcosmos Quartet and celebrated pianist Spartak Margaryan. Together, they will share an incredible afternoon of music inspired by Apollo—the Greek god of music, poetry, and the sun. ☀️🎶

- Benjamin Britten’s Apollo – Exuberant and virtuosic
- Igor Stravinsky’s Apollon Musagète – Exemplifies the elegance and rhythmic precision of neoclassicism
- Alfred Schnittke’s Piano Concerto – Featuring pianist Spartak Margaryan, widely regarded as one of the most promising and refined pianists of his generation.
