☀️ Date on Purpose Summer Social (Ages 25–35)
About this Event
It’s 2026 …. and dating has gotten WEIRD.
Remember dating before social media and dating apps? That awkward moment when you called the house phone to ask someone out on a date... and their mom or dad were always the ones who picked up first? Or meeting someone at the bar because that's what you did?
Meh - Neither do I.
Before a first date, we can scroll through someone's photos, read their bio, deep dive their Instagram, analyze their text messages, accidentally find photos from 2018, and conduct what can only be described as a full FBI investigation... all before we've even said hello.
And with all that information, we've convinced ourselves that we know exactly who someone is.
Spoiler alert. You usually don’t.
Because the best parts of another human being have never lived in three filtered photos, a couple of sentences in a bio, or even the first few minutes of a first date.
💜 They're found in the stories they tell.
💜 The way they laugh.
💜 What lights them up.
💜 The questions they ask.
💜 The way they make you feel after spending an hour together.
💜 Those silly little quirks that make them... uniquely them.
Those are the things no dating app has ever been able to capture.
We’ve made dating less about experiencing people and more about evaluating them.
We swipe.
We compare.
We overthink.
We spend weeks texting someone we've never met while trying to decode whether "Haha 😂" means they're interested... or just really enthusiastic about punctuation.
We send screenshots to the group chat for consensus, listen to all the dating podcasts, watch the TikTok gurus, and wonder whether we should wait two hours or two days before replying.
It’s no wonder dating feels more like calculus homework than something we're actually meant to enjoy doing.
So let me propose something…
What if, just for one evening, we stopped trying to outsmart dating?
What if we put our phones away, stopped trying to "solve for soulmate," and simply gave ourselves the chance to experience another human being?
Because sometimes something magical happens...
The people we'd never swipe right on sometimes end up being the ones we can't stop thinking about.
That's exactly why I created Date on Purpose.
Not because I think dating apps are all kinds of evil.
I simply wanted to create the kind of evening that's become surprisingly rare—especially if you were born any time after 1999.
A place where meeting someone feels... human again.
So... what actually happens at Date on Purpose?
First things first...
❌ THIS IS NOT SPEED DATING.
❌ You're not racing through two-minute conversations trying to decide if someone is your soulmate before a timer sends you to the next table.
❌ And it's definitely not one of those awkward singles mixers where everyone suddenly becomes fascinated with their drink because nobody knows who should make the first move.
Instead, you'll spend the evening in thoughtfully curated small groups, rotating throughout the night through meaningful conversations and shared experiences designed to help you skip the awkward small talk and discover the parts of someone that never make it onto a dating profile.
No worrying about where to sit or what to say.
No pressure to impress.
No pretending to be someone you're not.
Your only job?
✅ Fill out the registration form. 😊
✅ Show up.
✅ Be yourself.
✅ Stay curious.
✅ We'll take care of the rest.
Why Date on Purpose is different?
Most dating events are designed to pile a room with as many singles as possible so you can meet as many single people as possible.
But, Date on Purpose wasn't created to see how many people you can meet in one night.
It was created to help you EXPERIENCE the people you do meet.💡
✨ A thoughtfully curated evening with intentional singles ages 25–35.
🙋 Personally vetted attendees to create a respectful, welcoming, and balanced environment.
💬 Conversation prompts and shared experiences that go far beyond, "So... what do you do?" (Expect laughter, unexpected conversations, and a few moments that might have you saying, "Wow... I never would've guessed that about them.")
🕖 Enough time to genuinely discover whether you'd like another conversation.
🍹 One delicious alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage included.
🎁 A Date on Purpose Survival Bag (because yes... we deserve nice things).
💜 A room intentionally designed to make meeting people feel natural again.
This night is for you if...
✔️ You're so over the apps... but not over the idea of meeting someone amazing.
✔️ You're tired of endless talking stages that never become real dates.
✔️ You'd rather spend one intentional evening meeting real people than another month wondering what someone's texting & emoji habits really mean.
✔️ You're open to the possibility that someone who isn't your usual "type" might completely surprise you.
✔️ You still believe there are genuinely good people out there... you'd just like a better way to meet them.

One last thing I'd like to leave you with...
Maybe we've been trying so hard to avoid the wrong person...that we've stopped giving the right people the chance to surprise us.
That’s the magical mystery we’ve been missing, my friends.
It's time to stop swiping and start experiencing people.
You never know who you'll be glad you didn't scroll past.
I'll see you there!
