What really matters to you?
A challenging question at the best of times, especially when you feel you haven’t got the time or energy to consider this question which has the potential to bring positive change and a new meaning or direction to your life.
So, I have created this retreat for anyone who desires to go on a gentle spiritual adventure to explore this important question, as well as to receive rest, space and excellent hospitality.
Our time together will enable us to explore what really matters in our life, to bring before God our discoveries, to seek His plans for us, and to live authentically.
I hope you can join me on this ‘expedition’ which aims to be uplifting, affirming and insightful.

Arrival is through the afternoon on the Tuesday in time for 5:30pm. All meals are included, along with tea/coffee throughout. The retreat will end after lunch on the Thursday.

Leader: Reverend Vanessa Appleton
Since being ordained, I have served in the church and as a chaplain in the Police Force, the HM Prison Service and the National Health Service. I understand the importance, need and joy in spending time with God, which has led me to facilitate quiet days to gently guide people into the space and presence of God to receive His rest, refreshment and peace.
I have a very compassionate heart, blessed with the gift of creativity and a passion for connecting with nature which is echoed in the quiet days that I lead.
