So, The Greek Duck have some exciting news. We are opening up a pub! Well, we are reopening what is currently known to locals as The Curlew as of next Saturday 20th December!
Some say we are mad, crazy and a little stupid, maybe we are, but we have been lucky enough to find a venue of our own where we can bring a mix of our Greek food truck menu to you all along with traditional pub grub.
We have decided to rename the pub and the new name will be revealed on our opening night next week. (No guesses in the comments �). The new name will reflect the changes we will be making to the pub as we want to bring it back the old traditional boozer it once was. Once all is revealed, we will launch a new Facebook page for this new venture and keep The Greek Duck separate.
As we are reopening so close to Christmas, we will gradually be introducing our food menu in the new year so until then, we will be concentrating on building up our customer base, enjoying the festivities and maybe having a karaoke night or two!
But one thing we will be offering you between now and the new year is our Greek Duck menu. So, from Monday 22nd December all the way through to the new year you can pop in between 17:00 and 21:00 and enjoy our menu as an eat in or take away option. If successful, we would be looking to carry this on as a regular thing going forward, along with our new pub menu.
Our opening times for the rest of the year will be posted sometime next week and we will give you further details of our regular opening hours towards the end of the year. And yes, we will be dog friendly �!
Of course, we will be having a grand opening next weekend where you can check out the changes we’ve made to the venue and sample some of the delicious food we will be adding to our menu in the new year. Further details of the weekend will be posted throughout the coming week.
