About This Special Concert
In addition to Tom being the lead guitarist for legendary band ‘The Zombies’, he also writes, produces, plays and tours as a solo artist and you can see him live with his band at this special intimate gig at CICCIC.
Tom’s music includes work with ‘The Monficats’,’Jingo Santana’, solo electric guitar and solo acoustic shows, and he has also worked with numerous great artists throughout the years. His list (both live and recording) includes – Don McLean, Jon Anderson, Sir Cliff Richard, Leo Sayer, Paul Young, Gene Pitney, Marc Almond and of course The Zombies.
On this special night you will experience the “Tom Toomey” act, with acoustic guitar, keyboards and vocals. This is all Tom’s original music, with a few covers chucked in, and Milly will also bring her beautiful voice to some of the songs.
Tom has lots of influences like jazz, folk and flamenco, and with his new album ‘Ice Cube’ launched on this month of November, Tom will also be playing songs from this new album, so be prepared to experience some top class musicianship and compositions.
