A reunion of former ‘Chief Street’ Croatian School students will be held at The Croatian Club Adelaide on Sunday, 29th September 2024 at 12:30 pm. This event is part of the preparations for a Croatian History Festival, which will be held in Adelaide during 2025 to commemorate and celebrate the 75th anniversary of The Croatian Club Adelaide.The Croatian History Festival SA 2025 Steering Committee invites all former students, including Croatian students from local public and Catholic schools in the Brompton area between 1966 and 1980, to register their interest in attending by contacting Branimir Šprajcer on 0401 158 609. The reunion will feature special guests, historical displays, a buffet lunch, and an opportunity to reminisce with other former students and Croatian History Festival organisers, all at minimal cost.
Former students are encouraged to bring any old Croatian community artefacts, documents or photos for scanning or donation to the Croatian History Room’s archive collection, located adjacent to The Croatian Club Adelaide Library.
