‘Cat & Chat’ Evening Social - Lincoln Cat Club

Join us for another lively ‘Cat & Chat’ in- person social event!
Like minded cat people, gathering for a few drinks and nibbles, chatting cat stuff; sharing stories and ideas, where you can relax, mingle and learn about our feline friends. There will be a fun games, a raffle and a little something to take home for your kitty.
The event starts at 7pm on Thursday 23rd July at Tipsy Teapot Cocktail Bar.
It’s £5 a ticket per person. Please book your ticket via EventBrite and show upon arrival.
Pull up a seat, get any drinks and food ordered. It’s a fun casual affair so please feel free to come and go as you please. The night might go on abit later that 9pm due to it running over and of course you’re all welcome to mingle after the event has ‘finished’ as we have the area booked and we cat people do know how to party 🤪😅
After quick welcomes, receiving your honorary cat ear headband to all new members. They’ll be:
A casual ice breaker: ‘Tell us a funny story about your cat or cat you know’. Come to the event with something in mind so you’re not out on the spot. You don’t need story telling skills and doesn’t have to be anything really out there. Maybe just something we can all relate to, something very weird or how your cat got their name 😅.
And then ‘Guess who with posture notes’. We have a number of famous cats written on posit notes and place one on the forehead of each of us and in groups the one with the posit notes tries to guess what famous cat is written on their posit note while the others try to help them guess without using the name of the famous cat but only clues. 🧐
Followed by ‘paper plate cat drawing’, sounds easy well not when the paper plate is attached to your forehead 🤣 we each have a paper plate against our heads and a pen to use. When called out, we all draw the part of the cat called (such as tail, head, legs etc) ourselves on our paper plates to eventually show the finally monstrosity 😂
With some small prizes to be won for the winners.
Everyone is automatically entered into the raffle which the winner will be chose at random and announced at the end.
There will be a pen and paper out for anyone who would like to join our Lincoln Cat Club WhatsApp Group, to note down their name and number for me to add you.
Before you leave don’t forget to grab your free little something I’ll leave out, can’t go home without bringing back your a little gift for your fur baby!
Your £5 entry automatically put you in the raffle prize draw. Funds support future events and prizes.
This events prize is generous donated by local Inside Seventy Two, handcrafted Jesmonite pieces. They given us a cute cat jewellery dish and little cat ornaments!

The new Tipsy Teapot bar in town is keen to support the local cat people and we’ve booked a 20 seat booth with and table and chairs area! If we get more people attending they’ll corner off a part of their venue for us!

Our Cat & Chat is a relaxed, cat-focused social for cat lovers.
To keep the environment calm and comfortable for all guests, please don’t bring pets.
Registered assistance dogs are of course welcome.
