🍴 OAA Members Meet-Up: The Barnes Park Carvery! 🍗Who’s ready for a proper catch-up and a mountain of roasties? We are heading to Toby Carvery Barnes Park for our next group meal!
It’s the perfect spot to meet up, have a laugh, and enjoy a lovely carvery together. Whether you're coming from just down the road or traveling in from Newcastle or Durham, we’d love to see you there!
⚠️ Quick Note: Just a reminder that everyone is responsible for paying for their own meal and drinks. Come along, tuck in, and enjoy the company!

If you are a newbie or feel a bit nervous about meeting new people, please don't worry! Get in touch beforehand, and one of us can meet you right at the entrance so you don't have to walk in alone. We're a friendly bunch and we'll make sure you're looked after!

If you need a lift, please let us know in the event comments or message an admin directly. While we can't promise a spot for everyone, there are usually car shares available, and we’ll do our best to help you get there!
🚌 Getting There (Easy Peasy!)
We’ve picked this spot because it’s one of the best for public transport. Most buses stop right outside or just a 2-minute flat walk away!
From Newcastle: Take the X24 (X-lines) for a fast, direct route, or take the Metro to Sunderland Interchange.
From Sunderland Interchange: Hop on the 20, 20A, 33, or 35. It’s only a 5-minute bus ride (about 1 mile).
From Durham: The X20 service stops right along Durham Road.
For Drivers: There is ample free on-site parking at the pub.
♿ Accessibility & Walking
Walking: The bus stop is almost directly outside. It’s a very short, flat walk with no steep hills.
Facilities: The venue is fully wheelchair accessible with ramps and disabled toilets.
