Building a biomedical engineering ecosystem at University of Melbourne: synergizing expertise and capabilities from science, medicine and engineering
If you are researchers working and/or having interests in the biomedical engineering and medtech field and/or seeking interdisciplinary collaboration with others from different faculties within the University of Melbourne, affiliated partners, industry and clinical hospitals, then this event is for you!
You are warmly invited to join us at the GCI Cross-faculty Biomedical Engineering Collaboration Workshop hosted by the Graeme Clark Institute for Biomedical Engineering (GCI) in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering and IT (FEIT), Faculty of Science (FoS) and Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS).
This event is the second one in the series following the first symposium held in October 2022.
The aim of the event is to foster engagement and inspire research collaborations across faculties to build a biomedical engineering ecosystem at the University of Melbourne.
This workshop will include presentations from the winners of the GCI 2024 Cross-faculty Seed Funding Scheme and an industry representative followed by networking to provide the opportunity to connect with presenters and other researchers from different disciplines. The workshop also comprises of interactive round-table discussion to identify potential collaborative projects which may lead to big funding opportunities in the biomedical engineering and medtech field.
The event will be held in person.
