Director: Famous Odion Iraoya
Synopsis

Roli, a young woman from Warri, arrives in Lagos carrying the weight of tradition, expectation, and the hopes of those who shaped her past. What begins as a familiar journey soon transforms when she chooses a path of her own one defined not by obligation, but by purpose, resilience, and self-discovery.

As Roli navigates the challenges of a new city and the pressures of cultural expectations, she encounters a community that challenges, supports, and reshapes her understanding of womanhood and independence. Onobiren: A Woman’s Story unfolds as a powerful exploration of courage, identity, and the transformative strength that emerges when women uplift one another.
