Слава Толстой – гитарист, певец, ИНОАГЕНТ; известен по выступлениям и записям с Федором Чистяковым (Ноль) и Борисом Пелехом (Gogol Bordello). Объездил с гастролями США со своим инструментальным проектом “International String Trio”. В 2021 году Слава выпустил альбом “Песни Про Море”, его уникальный стиль можно описать как мелодичный поп-рок с элементами джаза и классики, виртуозными соло и глубокими текстами. С самого начала войны Слава занял активную про-Украинскую позицию - участвовал в фандрэйзерах и дал много концертов в поддержку Украины в разных городах Америки, а также в Берлине, Барселонe и Монреале. Осенью 2022 года выпустил анти-военный сингл и видео “Ты Вне” которые встречают теплый прием и отзывы в музыкальных кругах по всему миру (А. Троицкий, М. Козырев, Новая Газета. Европа). Выпускник престижного колледжа музыки Berklee (Бостон, США) Слава комфортно себя чувствует в самых разных стилях (цыганский джаз и классика, рок и этническая музыка), и все это находит отражение в его песнях. В апреле 2025 года был признан минюстом РФ иностранным агентом.
Rob Flax - отмеченный множеством наград мультиинструменталист, композитор и педагог. Его богатая палитра жанров распространяется от классической и джазовой скрипки до рока, блюграсс-скрипки, смелой блюзовой импровизации, и не только. Он также известен тем, что часто использует спецэффекты типа дисторшн и овердрайв на скрипке, благодаря этому она начинает звучать как электрогитара! Роб выступал на национальном и международном уровнях с группами самых разных стилей, в том числе на разогреве у B.B. King and Tower of Power, играл на альте и скрипке с Trans Siberian Orchestra и звездой YouTube - Jacob Collier, на контрабасе в Ансамбле Аргентинского Танго, на мандолине и скрипке в различных блюграсс-группах, на электрической скрипке и синтезаторах у Billy Wylder и у несколько других рок-групп, сотрудничал с современными танцорами и многое другое. Как композитор Роб написал музыку для хореографов и фильмов (включая работу над проектами для James Franco and Anthony Bourdain).

Slava and Rob have toured all around the USA with various projects (International String Trio, Fedor Chistyakov, Boom Chick Trio, etc). Both are virtuoso performers on their instruments (guitar and violin) as well as accomplished singers. They are presenting a unique program that includes original songs in Russian and English, virtuoso arrangements of familiar tunes form various traditions (gypsy jazz, pop-rock, world music) and just overall super fun and engaging vibe!
Slava Tolstoy is a Boston based guitarist, singer and producer. He has toured and recorded in duo with Fedor Chistyakov - the leader of a legendary rock band “Nol”; as well as Boris Pelekh - the guitarist of Gogol Bordello. For many years Slava has performed all around the US with his instrumental project - “International String Trio” that blends jazz, classical and gypsy music. Slava’s solo album with original pop-rock songs “Songs About the Sea” - was released in 2021 and is all about meaningful lyrics, catchy melodies, and political satire. From the very first days of russia’s war on Ukraine, Slava took a firm position against the invasion. He participated in numerous pro-Ukrainian fundraisers and concerts all over USA as well as in Germany, Canada and Spain. In the fall of 2022 Slava released an anti-war song “You’re Out” that gained significant recognition across the globe. Over the course of his career he has worked and collaborated with such outstanding and diverse performers as Fedor Chistyakov, Olli Soilkkeli, Lynn Harrell, Vadim Neselovskyi, Kenny Aronoff, Ben Powell, Eric Marienthal, Ruslan Sirota, and many more. In April 2025 for his support of Ukraine Slava was officially declared a "foreign agent" by the russian goverment - a modern day version of the infamous "enemy of the people" label of Stalin's time.
Rob Flax is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist (Violin, mandolin, back vocals), composer, and educator from Chicago, IL with a playful heart and an open mind. He has performed nationally and internationally with groups of many different styles, including opening for B.B. King and Tower of Power, playing viola and violin with the Trans Siberian Orchestra and YouTube star Jacob Collier, upright bass in an Argentine tango ensemble, mandolin and fiddle in various bluegrass bands, electric violin in several rock bands, collaborations with modern dancers, and more. As a composer Rob has written music for choreographers, film (including work on projects for James Franco and Anthony Bourdain), and several original projects. Rob is a graduate of the New England Conservatory, and he currently lives in Boston, MA. Rob’s favorite composer is Fred Rogers, and like Mister Rogers Rob strives to create a better world using his musical gifts to spread light and joy, he describes his music concisely: “I play things with strings, I hit stuff, and I sing.” Behind this simple tag line lies a rich depth of genre-bending, from classical and jazz violin to bluegrass fiddle, to blues and rock influences, and beyond.
