We are finally thrilled to welcome into the world our little Махала Book Club! During this strange October, we start off with our book of the month, one of Haruki Murakami's lesser known novels Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Piligrimage. A mysterious coming-of-age story full of yearning and nostalgia, the book follows young Tsukuru as he tries to find out why his closest friends abandoned him without explanation. If you're craving a seasonal read but are somewhat tired of the usual fall thrillers, spooky season flings, creepy romantasy and whatnot, come read with us and join us for a discussion on the 28th moderated by writer and journalist Joanna Elmy. We'll talk adolescence, friendship, loneliness, and of course – trains.
